ABOUT ME

I am an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Kennesaw State University. My research broadly centers on increasing donations to charitable organizations and how marketing managers can effectively use visual cues in social media messaging. My background in journalism provided me with a desire to understand the influence of marketing strategies on the success of nonprofits and businesses alike. Conducting marketing research has furnished an outlet to explore that curiosity with a scientific and structured approach.

After completing a two-essay dissertation, I received my PhD in Business Administration (Marketing) in August 2020. I also received an MBA from Florida Gulf Coast University (2011) and a BA in journalism from Auburn University (2004).
